Popes Condemns Israeli Attacks on UN Peacekeepers
Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon (UPI) World leaders harshly condemn recent Israeli airstrikes on United Nations peacekeepers. this is the second time in two days to cause major destruction and raise disturbance in the region.
UN Peacekeeping Operations Under Assault
As UN peacekeeping operations chief, he declared his “extreme concern”, and added that there is strong evidence as well of Israel’s intention to strike intentionally at a number of positions identified with the organization in southern Lebanon. The attacks have injured a number of UN personnel.
France Declaration France, Italy and Spain
In a joint statement, leaders of France, Italy and Spain said the attacks were “unjustifiable”. Meanwhile, the President of United States Joe Biden urged Israel to not target UN peacekeepers whilst conducting military operations against Hezbollah.
Civilian Casualties: Lebanon and Gaza
Beirut: Israel launched two airstrikes on central Beirut (from top) late Saturday, killing 22 civilians in the country’s deadliest offensive yet against Lebanon. The bombings, which came with no notice prior to them happening, has done nothing but push the humanitarian crisis further. But israeli forces said they had intercepted a number of launches from Lebanon and that drones were seen operating in the north, both from Lebanon and Syria.

High Death Toll in Gaza
Separately, the Gaza civil defense agency said 30 people were killed by Israeli strikes on Jabalia in northern Gaza. THE HAMAS-RUN health ministry in Gaza says more than 42,175 have been killed there since October 7 last year.
